Geoff has over 20 years of experience in chartered accountancy as well as working in corporate environments. He is experienced in providing business advice as well as accounting and taxation services to small businesses, including those in the agricultural and horticultural industries. Diane is experienced in her profession running her own business successfully for over 20 years.

Existing staff members Jo Pennell, Tanya Blake, Marilyn Rae and Jenika Cooper as well as Bruce Warden will continue to work in the practice providing the same excellent level of client service that existed previously. Brian McPhail will continue to operate his practice from our premises.

Business owners face many challenges operating their businesses in the complex modern environment. Inland Revenue has been very successful in recent years in court actions which have helped to define what may be tax evasion (illegal) and tax avoidance (legal use of the tax system to reduce the amount of tax that is payable by means that are within the law). Katikati Chartered Accountants Limited can assist clients to ensure that their business operation and entities are designed to be tax efficient and are not interpreted as taking an unacceptable tax position which could incur considerable penalties if that position was not accepted by Inland Revenue.

We are able to provide advice on not only the accounting and tax requirements facing small businesses, but also on the operational challenges many small business owners face today.

Servicing the Bay of Plenty, new clients looking for a friendly accountant that emphasises client service should come and visit Geoff for a free consultation.
